These unique and increasingly rare Dnepr motorcycles were manufactured in
Ukraine at KMZ, the Kiev Motorcycle Factory (Kyivskyi
Mototsykletnyi Zavod), which is no
longer in production. The Dnepr is a diminishing species but
we still have a sizeable herd of the monsters...for now.
Our motorcycles were restored
and rebuilt in Ukraine and are shipped fully assembled to us from
Odessa to Oakland, then by truck to our headquarters in Sacramento.
We do mechanical work and upgrades as required and take the vehicles
through the documentation process. We sell titled and
registered Dneprs, not kit bikes.
There are different styles and models
of Dneprs, but in general they fall into two categories -- military
and civilian models. The other main differences are engine
type -- Overhead Valve vs Flathead or Sidevalve.
